With his over two month vacation and absence from Ghana, Member of Parliament for Asante Akyem North, Kojo Baah Agyeman says the Black Stars Coach Avram Grant is taking his job for granted.
The absent Black Star coach has come under a barrage of attacks from the Ghanaian media for neglecting his post, and failing to monitor the local league with his prolonged stay in the United Kingdom.
Even though, his employers, the Ghana Football Association has ordered him to return to Accra, the member Kojo Baah Agyemang believes the 60-year-old tactician is taking Ghanaians for a ride.
“It’s unacceptable that the head coach of our national team spends all his time outside the country. We can say what he does on Sky Sports somehow projects the nation but I’m against it because he has some work to do,” the MP told Accra based Happy FM.
“Even if he were to be talking about the Ghana national team or projecting some Ghanaian players he has unearthed, we could have taken it as normal. In fact Grant is taking us for granted.”
